NSPCC visit – Let’s Keep Kids Safe Online

Thursday 6th April

Do you know what these apps are?

There is a good chance your children do and are using them on a regular basis!

We were fortunate to be joined by Emma, Viv, Carey and Jan from the NSPCC today. They have shared the very important ‘Speak Out, Stay Safe’ message and have run assemblies and workshops with years 1-6 explaining ways to keep safe online.

Thank you to everybody who came along to the Online Safety Workshop for Parents too – the NSPCC team helped everybody gain skills and knowledge to understand the internet and technology as children do – from online games and cyber bullying, to setting up privacy settings and controls.

If you would like any more support or advice you can contact the NSPCC Online Safety Helpline on 0808 800 5002 or call into the office and speak to Mrs Wilkinson!
