Fire Service visit Caterpillars and Dragonflies

Tuesday 14th February
As part of our topic ‘The Great Fire of London’, Caterpillars and Dragonflies were lucky to have a visit from Hampshire Fire and Rescue Service – complete with one large and shiny fire engine! We had great fun looking all around the fire engine, hearing the sirens and even sprayed the hose!

We also learnt about road safety, how important smoke alarms are and what to do if there is a fire at home. We learnt a little rhyme to help us: “Matches and lighters never touch, they can harm you very much”.

Thanks to Hampshire Fire and Rescue for taking the time to visit us!
